Rabbit, rabbit

I must admit, my blanket cat caused some hilarity at the tea table last night. Eldest son was convinced it was watching him in a not entirely kindly way. So I decided to try something cuter: enter the rabbit. 

Same pattern, different ears. I got the idea for these ears from a book I've had for some time now.

The rabbit ears in the book have a small pleat to make them hang in a suitably floppy manner. 

Whatever next??

    Perhaps a blanket bear? I have just made a blanket draught excluder for our old front door not nearly so imaginative as your lovelies. Karen x

      Funny you should say that, I looked at a simple pattern for a bear. I wasn't sure if I would lose patience with stuffing the little arms and legs, but if I am feeling ambitious I might give it a try...the fabric would be really sweet on a bear. Draught excluder is a good one, I made one last year, and they work so well!
