Sunday morning

 Shoe trees

Some small treasures from two car boot sales today. Such a mellow, sunny morning, with people chilling out in their deck chairs with flasks of coffee, lots of chat. I sat by the river with my paper waiting for the second boot to open and it really wasn't like being in Blighty at all.

Skipping rope

Retro tin

Two beautiful boxes of buttons, buckles and beads

Old wooden pegs in a home made bag.
And a few more things besides. But time now to pack the car for tomorrow.
See you soon.

    1. I thought you might spot that! Orange and brown: it could only be from the 70s.

  3. I love the skipping rope - and the buttons and buckles. My Mother has been sorting through my huge vintage button collection today to change the wooden ones she dislikes on her new cardigan. Good luck for tomorrow - think its a good forecast for the whole country. Karen xx
